Scharita Lacey is the Founder, Visionary, and CEO of Scharita Lacey Empowerment S.L.E. Born in Toledo, Ohio, she was fortunate enough to have good mentors, teachers, and women leaders, she understands first hand the impact of being surrounded by good quality women and mentors. Scharita who overcame much in her childhood years and young adult life understands the determination and faith it takes for a person to win in life! "It takes a great deal of self-love, ambition, and a great faith in a higher power, which for her is Jesus Christ!" Many women, teens, and college ladies share similar stories as Scharita, "from ashes to beauty, from nothing to something, and from defeat to victory."
God has placed within Scharita a sincere desire to see all women be liberated from their past and receive the confidence, boldness, tools, and determination to live out their life's purpose in the earth. Scharita understands firsthand the impact of not loving yourself, being judged by others, bound to your past, and lacking a sense of purpose and focus in life and it is from that place that she is able to minister, testify, inspire, share, and encourage the hearts of women around the world. Once you meet her you will immediately understand two things about her; that she is very passionate about God, and that she loves to see people evolve into their authentic self, "coming to understand God's plan and purpose for their life, and release the measure of greatness that is within them for the world to see! "be" who they were pre-destined to be."
Also called to empower women in the word and instruct them in righteousness, and to speak, preach, teach, and minister to the minds, hearts, and spirits of all women on some of the most intimate matters of the heart, her delivery transparent with a realistic approach, "to proclaim a spirit of liberty & freedom, to give them a sense of purpose, renewed self character, and identity in life."
Scharita is a sought after motivational speaker, life coach, minister/evangelist, and mentor to many. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration (Marketing & Management) from the Central State University and her Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She holds Ministerial Credentials with Pneuma Life Network of Churches and several Professional & Leadership Certifications.
She is the wife of Christian recording artist, Amante Lacey (www.championlive.com). Together they reside in Riverside, Ohio with their daughter Sidney and son Michael. They are members of Greater Grace Temple Church in Springfield, Ohio under the leadership of Bishop Ronald M. and Pastor Monica Logan where she serves as an Associate Minister.
A passionate exhorter of women, Scharita also serves in the "Heart of God" Women's Ministry at her church as one of the Government of Twelve - G12 Leaders on the Women's Board and as a Life Group Leader to the women. She assists Pastor Monica Logan along with the other G12 women in the planning and development of events to unite the women, sheparding, teaching, training, empowering, mentoring, nurturing, and discipling women in her congregation and surrounding communities teaching them to have a passion for the lost, to seek God daily in worship, and compassion in service to one another www.ggtspringfield.org.
As a Minister, a called evangelist she is compelled to reach the lost & hurting with the testimony of God's love and forgiveness and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Minister Lacey has preached and taught before audiences (churches, colleges, prisons, retreats, women's recovery center) boldly declaring the Word of God. Her ministry extends to women, men, and youth. *Ministerial credentials with Pneuma Life Network of Churches.
As a Motivational Speaker/Leadership Trainer, she has motivated and inspired a wide range of audiences (churches, colleges campuses, professional leadership conferences, and community agencies) calling for them to activate their life's purpose and mission teaching them the art of effective communication, character building, and leadership training. *Several Leadership Certifications & Training, Toastmasters Member, Motivational Speakers Network.
As a Mentor & Life Coach, Over the past decade Scharita has been on a quest to discover her life's purpose and greatest joy which she came to discover is "empowering others" and seeing them succeed in life (ministry, marriage, career, and their personal aspirations & goals). She has been blessed to touch and inspire hundreds of women she has encountered on her journey leaving an imprint on each of their hearts.
She has also personally mentored hundreds of young women through her college years as Miss Central State University, Church women's ministry, S.L.E mentoring network, and her Dance Network. Helping to guide them through life's most difficult challenges and joyous occasions. Her devotion, compassion, love, and transparency to them has helped these women & young women be able to reach out to others, grow immensely in the word of God and their relationship with Christ, have their gifts & leadership skills activated, and to live out their life's purpose.
She currently has about 10-15 women that God has called her to and she has served as their personal mentor & life coach over the past several years. She is a constant part of their life & day, celebrating the highs of life and being there in their low times, offering them consistent love, affirmation, empowerment, life coaching, and wisdom. She maintains regular visits, outings, and weekly contact with them.
